(Morrisville, NY – Oct. 2013) If you are in Pre-K to 6th grade be sure to drop off your coloring contest entry by Saturday Oct. 19.   Winners will be announced at our Halloween party later in the month.

We are raffling off a Concrete Leaf Decoration for your garden, made by our very own landscaper, Karen Verne.  Help us raise $1,500 for the damages the flood of 2013 caused to our gardens.  Buy a raffle ticket for $1 or 6/$5. Or donate money to the cause too.  We will raffle another leaf again in the spring.  Monies needed by spring 2014.

Bring the family in for popcorn and a movie this Friday Oct. 18 at 6:00pm.  We will be showing the movie, The Croods.  This will prove solidly entertaining for families seeking a fast-paced, funny cartoon adventure.

Our free Tai Chi Chuan Class will meet again on Monday Oct. 21 at 6:30pm.  Come join instructor Bill Snyder.  Open to all teens and adults.  If you can’t make it that day, he will be here again on Oct. 28.

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday Oct.22 at 9:30am.  Bring the little ones and help us have fun hearing stories about fire prevention and seeing a fire man from the Morrisville Fire Department.  If you can’t make that day, join us on Tuesday Oct. 29 for Halloween stories.

Bring your lunch and join in the discussion of the book, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce on Friday Oct. 25 at 1:00pm.  Books can be picked the middle of September during library hours.  This talk will take place in the museum room of the library.

Join us for our annual Halloween party on Friday Oct. 25 at 6:30pm.  Wear your costumes and join us for a spooky celebration.  We will not only announce the winner of the pumpkin coloring contest, but have fun, play games and make cool crafts too.

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
