(Oneida, NY – Oct. 25, 2013) State Police in Oneida arrested Andrew J.F. Hilborn, age 26, from Pugh Road in the Town of Eaton, Madison County for “Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child.”
Hilborn was charged after State Police Investigators determined that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with a female child under the age of 13 on several occasions between August and October of 2013.
Hilborn was arraigned in the Town of Lincoln Court and remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $150,000 cash bail / $300,000 bond.
State Police were assisted in this investigation by the Madison County Child Protective Services and Child Advocacy Center.
A person is guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child when, being 18 years old or more, he or she commits the crime of rape in the first degree, criminal sexual act in the first degree, aggravated sexual abuse in the first degree, or course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree, as defined in this article, and the victim is less than thirteen years old.
Predatory sexual assault against a child is a class A-II felony.
