(Oneida, NY- Nov. 2013) The Oneida Public Library’s first “Facebook for Seniors Workshop” conducted by Youth Librarian Michele Ryan will be held Monday, Nov. 4 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the library’s Meeting Room.
Ryan will show how to create a Facebook account and post messages and pictures. She will also show how to group Facebook “friends” so privacy is maintained. For instance, Facebook users can separate family members from professional and organizational acquaintances. In addition, Ryan will explain how to view your Facebook page as individual “friends” see it.
The workshop is free and open to all with no registration required.
