letterstotheeditorTo the Editor,

I have the good luck of knowing the Town of Eaton Supervisor candidate, Ray Lewandowski.

Please vote for Ray.

When you folks in Eaton cast your vote, bear in mind that you aren’t just electing an exceptionally well qualified person to run your township, you are sending your representative to serve in Wampsville on the Board of Supervisors and that person should represent your interests and sentiments when it comes time to establish County policy.  Ray will help to shape county policy based on his own independent thought process.  Independent thought is key for anyone in a legislative position.

Ray is exceptionally well qualified for this task.  As the head of ARC, he has spent his working life laboring in support of the disabled; people that are very often unable to fend for or protect themselves.

In doing this work, Ray also managed budget development for what is a large charitable corporation and at the same time directed the management of hundreds of employees and volunteers assisting in this important work.

As you know, charitable corporations can’t simply create an operational plan and hand the bill to local taxpayers. Not for profit organizations require thoughtful planning and expenditures designed to meet charitable goals within the resources available to them.  Ray will bring that important sensibility to your budget planning

So, Town of Eaton voters:  Please cast your vote for my friend Ray Lewandowski.  Bring solid management to the Town of Eaton and at the same time, help the rest of us neighbors in Madison County by sending such a quality representative to Wampsville to serve on the Board of Supervisors.
