FarmersMarket(Poolville, NY – Nov. 2013) Cold weather doesn’t mean the end of finding local foods for your family.  The Poolville Winter Farmers Market returns on Nov. 9.

The Market will again take place on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.  Market shoppers will find locally produced foods including eggs, vegetables, fruits, meats, honey, mushrooms, dog treats, cheese, butter, homemade baked goods, granola and more.

This season, the Market’s café will continue to feature a local guest chef.  For the Nov. 9 market will be the offerings of guest Chefs Charles Wilburn and Roger Foster of the Poolville Country Store. Also offered will be the coffee of Fojo Beans Coffee Roasters from Norwich.

The Market will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the historic Poolville Community Center on Willey Road in Poolville on Nov. 9 and 23, Dec. 14 and 28, Feb. 8 and 22, March 8 and 22, and April 12 and 26.

November’s local farmers and producers will include Alambria Springs Farm, Common Thread Community Farm, Drover Hill Farm, Dutch Girl Cheese, Faithful Friends, Fojo Coffee Roasters, Fruit of the Fungi, Full Quiver Farm, G & M Farms, Happy Pasture Farm, Heirloom Meadows Farm, Ingallside Meadows, Jake’s Gouda Cheese, Jewett’s Cheese House, Johnston’s Honeybee Farm, Kriemhild Dairy Farms, Lucky Moon Farm, Mizrahi Manor Farm, Poolville Country Store, Poplar Hedge Farm, Quarry Brook Farms, Sabino’s Farm, Sommers Harvest Farm, Stone Brothers Farm & Greenhouse, Szarek’s Greenhouses, and Windy Hill Orchard.
