Snowflake

(Oneida, NY- Jan. 2014) This month in After-school Crafts, Youth Librarian Michele Ryan will teach elementary-school children the old-time craft of making and decorating paper snowflakes on Tuesday Jan. 7 at 4 p.m.

Though making paper snowflakes is basically simple, the craft can become an art when creative minds design new designs and enhance the shapes with colors and pictures. At home, the snowflakes can be used to decorate windows or be tied into lacy chains or wreaths

For more information, stop by the Oneida Library, 220 Broad St., or call 363-3050.
