(Hamilton, NY – March 2014) Are you familiar with Pysanka? These Ukrainian eggs are made using a Kistka tool, beeswax, and special dyes to create very detailed and traditional folk art patterns. Retired art teacher Linda Evans has been creating Pysanka for over 18 years and will be sharing a workshop with us on Saturday, April 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. She will provide all materials and lead participants through this egg decorating process to create their own Pysanka. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch, dessert will be provided. Space is limited so save the date and please call or stop by the library to sign up soon. We hope you’ll join us for this special opportunity.
