(Chittenango, NY – May 2014) Genealogy Dig on the Erie Canal, an all-day workshop, will be held from noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday May 31, at the Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum, 717 Lakeport Road, Chittenango.
Pamela Vittorio will present three sessions: 1. Using online resources. 2. Researching local family history and Erie Canal ancestors. 3. Discover your immigrant past using international resources.
Light refreshments will be served between sessions. Session 1 break includes a short tour of the museum. All proceeds from this event support the CLCBM and its educational programs.
Non-members, $12 per session or all three for $31. Become a member and receive a discount. Members, $10 per session or all three for $25. Bring a friend or sign up a new member and pay only $20 for all three sessions. Reserve a place in this popular workshop, only 60 spots available per session.
