Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre’s “Alice in Wonderland”
Monday at 11 a.m.
Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre has adapted Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice in Wonderland” into a fast-paced, up-to-date comedy performed by engaging young actors. They perform at the Oneida Library as part of its Summer Reading Program. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oneida Library. Admission is free.

WOPL Presents!
Thursday at 7 p.m.
Oneida Public Library’s Children’s Summer Theater presents “WOPL Presents,” a recreation of three old-time radio shows performed by children under the direction of Tom Lemery. Children also do the sound effects, under the direction of Kayli Wilson. The three shows are “Superman: The Baby from Krypton,” “Bippy and Ed” and “Jack Armstrong, The All-American Boy.” Free admission.

David Muth of Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency gives energy-conservation tips to cut home electricity and heating fuel consumption. Participants get a free set of energy-efficient light bulbs. Pre-registration at the Oneida Librarty desk.

Personnel from the Air Force Lab in Rome bring the materials and know-how to instruct young people how to build robots out of Legos and program them to do tasks in this week-long workshop, part of the national STEM program the First Lego League. Pre-registration at the Oneida Library is required.

Oneida Public Library will be closed to celebrate Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1. The library will be open as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 9 a.m.
