(Cazenovia, NY- July 2014) Fun abounds at the Cazenovia Public Library with a celebration of Beatrix Potter and her beloved characters.
Young children and families are invited to join the fun on the library front lawn from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 28, the exact date of Potter’s birth in 1866.
Enter through Peter Rabbit’s Gate and enjoy all the games, activities, treats, and a few surprises. Drop in for just a few minutes or stay the whole time. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, and, of course, books to check out.
This event is free and open to the public.

Art in the Garden at Lorenzo on July 30 –learn about the art and gardens of Lorenzo and spend time creating your own art, inspired by the natural setting.
Bringing Superheroes to Life on Aug. 13 –an afternoon of drawing and learning the process of creating your own comic book.
Beatrix Potter Birthday Party on the Lawn:

Lego My Library:
Aug. 4 at 1:30 pm—build a marvelous LEGO creation
Block Parties
Aug. 11 at 10:30 a.m.—create a structure with wooden blocks and props
