(Oneida, NY – April 2015) Members of Boy Scout Troop 2 and individuals with the Arc of Madison Cortland will soon be hooking on residents’ doorknobs notices of a special Bottle and Can Drive in support of Oneida Public Library’s New Library Project for pick up on Saturday, April 11, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
The scouts will then deliver the returnable bottles and cans to ABC Redemption Center, a subsidiary of the Arc of Madison Cortland located at 220 Farrier Ave. The Arc will tally the returns at the end of the drive and write a check out to the OPL’s New Library Project.
The ABC Redemption Center will also accept dropped-off bagged donations of bottles and cans designated for the OPL during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
