(Town of Madison, NY- April 4, 2015) The Town of Madison Historical Society is looking for volunteers to help spruce up the historical building, which has an archives room and hosts community and private events on Sunday April 12 from noon to 3 p.m.

COVE from Colgate University is recruiting interns to help along with much-needed volunteers from the community. The duties are to vacuum, deep clean the wooden and linoleum floors, wash windows inside and out, clean the archives room and if weather allows, power wash the outdoor siding and/or paint the outside entrance. The society needs help from you to bring this historic building up to par.

Credit can be given to those from high school who need to complete their community service. Please consider joining us! Bring rubber gloves, work gloves, pails, heavy-duty mops (we supply the string mop heads) and garden hand tools. We will supply water and snacks!

For directions to 3606 South Street, Madison or for more information, call Diane at 315-893-7910.
