This is an early literacy program of rhymes, songs, fingerplay and stories that will help children from birth through two years old to develop pre-reading skills.

Tech Help
Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Volunteer tech advisors will be on hand to help users set up and adapt their devices, from iPads and tablets to smart phones and laptops. No appointment is needed.

WWI on Film: ‘A Farewell to Arms’
Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
The 1932 film adaptation of Ernest Hemingway’s second novel, set during World War I, features Helen Hayes and Gary Cooper as the lovers who escape the war to find a separate peace.

Tea, Cakes and Art
Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
An after-school party at the OPL for mothers and children, Tea, Cakes and Art brings together tea-time refreshments and the chance for teams of parents and children to reproduce a masterpiece by the American Impressionist best known for her portraits of mothers and children, Marty Cassatt. The program and art supplies are free.

Members of the Syracuse VA Medical Center’s Suicide Prevention Team will offer information and help to family and friends concerned about those they love.
