(Oneida, NY- April 29, 2015) Starting Thursday morning, April 30 at 7 a.m. the clean-up of the building debris on Phelps Street will take place. To accommodate the equipment that is used and access for the large trucks to enter and exit some areas will have limited access for traffic or pedestrians.
Phelps Street will be open for the one way traffic. An area adjacent to the site will be marked off for the company’s equipment and trailer. The sidewalk on the south side of the street will be blocked off at the east end of the Big Cheese down to the vacant building just past the site.
Messenger Street will be closed off at Cedar Street down to James Street for both traffic and pedestrians.
James Street will be open to allow entry and exit to the parking lot for Dr. Costello’s Office. In addition they will provide access to the lot behind the Kallet.
A small area on Cedar Street just south of Phelps will be coned off to allow the large trucks to back down Messenger Street.
The clean- up is expected to be completed by the following Wednesday.
