BOUCKVILLE 2014 CROWD 2Madison-Bouckville antiques and collectibles shopping will kick off the weekend of June 5 to 7 with the June Show, with more than 150 dealers coming out for the annual Outdoor Antique Weekend along Route 20.

(Bouckville, NY – May 2015) The heat of summer shopping season will return to the famed Route 20 corridor early next month, as the fourth annual June Show brings out more than 150 antiques and collectibles dealers for a three-day Outdoor Antique Weekend.

Running June 5 through 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the June Show is the debut of the summer season in the Madison-Bouckville area. Local dealers plus those from all over the northeastern United States will bring out their latest and best merchandise for this event, considered a buyer’s market for the quality bargains offered.

“There will be something for everyone,” said Jim Dutcher, owner of the Cider House Showfield and Campground. He said he expects to have some 75 dealers on his own field for the long weekend.

Admission to the June Show is free, and Dutcher’s field also offers free parking and rest room facilities for shoppers. There will also be food vendors available along the Route 20 corridor.

That Friday and Saturday will also feature the two-day Petroliana Swap Meet, with some 50 to 60 dealers celebrating the history of automotive fuel and repair, said Jim Mancino, owner of the Gallery Antiques at Pinebrick and the Outfront Showfield.

“It’ll be all gas station stuff,” Mancino said of the Petroliana inventory. This year’s Swap Meet will also include a petroliana memorabilia auction that Saturday at 2 p.m. in the pavilion at the Gallery.

New vendors are welcome to come out and show their wares, and antiques and collectibles dealers are welcome to join the selling fun right through the very day of the event. Dutcher said signing up is simple — just check out the Madison Bouckville Promotions website, pick out a preferred show field, contact that owner to find an available space, and bring out items to sell that weekend.

The June Show is just a sample of what is to come throughout the antique corridor of Route 20, as the 44th annual Madison-Bouckville Antique Week brings out thousands of buyers and sellers from across the country and beyond from Aug. 10 through 16. This free event is one of the biggest antiques and collectibles shows in the United States and runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
