Patrick Petition Hand-In.7.6.15(Wampsville, NY – July 10)  Madison County Judge candidate Patrick O’Sullivan this week submitted Republican, Conservative and Independence Party Designating Petitions to the Madison County Board of Elections, supporting his candidacy for County Judge.

“The petitioning process has been extremely rewarding, speaking to hundreds of Madison County residents about the issues in our community and their hopes for the future,” said O’Sullivan. “I’m thankful to my team of supporters who passed my petitions and those who signed in support. This is an important step as we make the future of Madison County our priority throughout our campaign.”

New York State law requires candidates collect petition signatures within their district to secure a place on the ballot.

O’Sullivan has been Town Judge in Nelson for 10 years, and Village Judge in Cazenovia for the past four years. For 22 years he has served as a trial attorney, litigating civil and criminal matters across all of Upstate New York. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Syracuse University College of Law and Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Morrisville State College.

Judge O’Sullivan was endorsed by the Madison County Republican Committee in May. Following the endorsement, Madison County Republican Chairman Todd Rouse said, “As a Committee, we believe the future of our community and the future of the Madison GOP are only as strong as the candidates we elect. That’s exactly why we endorsed Judge Patrick O’Sullivan for County Court; he has excellent qualifications, experience, and a passion for public service. He will make a tremendous County Judge and serve our community well.”

Primary Election Day is Thursday, Sept. 10, while General Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
