(Cazenovia, NY- July 2015) Lucille Ball was fond of saying, “The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.” Add Phil Markert’s dynamic performance “A Senior Moment or Two or Three,” and you have unparalleled entertainment on hand in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room Friday July 31 at 7 p.m.

For more than 50 years, the multi-talented Markert has devoted his career to the performing arts—film, theater, broadcasting, as well as piano performance and composition. Of these, he particularly loves piano entertainment and has created a program that features show tunes, old standards, vocals, songs for fellow seniors, and much more—all guaranteed to please audiences young and old.  So, if your kids aren’t too tired, bring ‘em along….

Sponsored by the Friends, “A Senior Moment or Two or Three” is free and open to the public.  For more information on Markert’s performance or other events at the Cazenovia Public Library, call 655-9322 or visit the Library’s Facebook page or website at www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
