Hamilton Public Library News
By Hilary Virgil, Library Director
(Hamilton, NY – Aug. 3, 2015) The Community is invited to join us in the gallery space at the Hamilton Public Library between 4:30 and 6 p.m. on Thursday Aug. 6 to view and celebrate the drawings and paintings of accomplished local artist Jeanne Mellin Herrick. Her renditions of the ideal Morgan stallion and mare were adopted as the official AMHA Morgan Horse Standards of perfection. Jeanne’s artwork is known both nationally and internationally and her name has become synonymous with Morgan Horse artwork and depictions. Refreshments at the reception will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Jeanne’s work will continue to be on display through September 5th.
