Oneida police patch(Oneida, NY – Aug. 3, 2015) Janet M.  Watts, 44, of Cocoa, Florida was arrested July 31 on the following charges; second-degree Forgery, a class D Felony, fourth-degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, a class E Felony, second-degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, a class D Felony and fourth-degree Attempted Grand Larceny. Watts is alleged to have possessed a stolen credit/debit card from a victim in Miami Florida and forged the victim’s name in an attempt to withdraw over $1,000 thousand dollars from the victim’s account at a local bank. Watts was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond to appear Aug. 7.

Carlos M. Maes, 35, of Almond Street, Oneida was charged July 31with Trespass and seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is alleged to have entered onto property he was previously advised to stay off of and was in possession of heroin.

Tyler W. Canaday, 25, of Kemper Hollow Road, Gallipols, Ohio was arrested Aug. 1 on charges of second-degree Criminal Trespass and seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is alleged to have on Aug. 1 at 2:20 a.m. unlawfully entered an E. Walnut Street residence and was in possession of a Controlled Substance. The resident found the subject, unknown to him, in his house. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $1,000.

Gregory Ramcus, 35, of Madison Street, Oneida was charged Aug. 1 with fourth-degree Criminal Mischief and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He is alleged to have, during a dispute, intentionally damage another person’s door by repeatedly kicking the door and to have had a verbal and physical altercation with another in front of a 2 year old child.

Kristina M. Lawler, 31, of W. Elm Street, Oneida was issued a criminal summons Aug. 2 to answer a charge of second-degree Harassment.

William P. Michlovitch, 33, Deerwood Drive, Baldwinsville arrested Aug. 1 on charges of two counts of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is alleged to have possessed a schedule II and a schedule IV controlled substance. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $500 cash or $1,000 bond.

William R. Green, 35, of Lenox Avenue, Oneida was issued a criminal summons Aug. 1 to answer a charge of second-degree Harassment.

Charles J. Bennett, 54, of W. Railroad Street, Oneida was issued a criminal summons Aug. 1 to answer a charge of second-degree Harassment.

Vernon E. Howe Jr., 52, of S. Lake Street, Oneida was issued a criminal summons Aug. 2 to answer a charge of second-degree Harassment.

Jerry A. Mansir, 49, no address available, was issued an appearance ticket July 29 on a violation of Possession of Open Container of Alcohol in Public.

Paul M. Mathews, 35, of Main Street, Oneida was charged July 29 with fourth-degree Criminal Mischief. He is alleged to have intentionally damaged another person’s property.

Oneida City Police report that on July 28 a tackle box with gear was turned in after it had fallen off of a truck on Main Street.  The owner can claim the box by describing the box and contents at the police station Monday through Friday from 8a.m. to 4 p.m.
