(Canastota, NY – Oct. 2015) I have known Kathleen for almost 20 years and I have worked by her side as her assistant for almost 15 years. I am continually amazed at her unfailing, continuous commitment to the law here in Madison County and in our neighboring counties. Kathleen is regarded with the highest respect by her fellow peers for her integrity, hard work, fairness and conduct in the courtroom. I know that she has always shown the greatest respect to the judges she appears before in Supreme Court, Surrogate Court, Family Court and in our local criminal courts.
Kathleen’s devotion to her family, our clients, our staff here, neighbors and to our community in unwavering and constant. Becoming a judge here in Madison County is not merely a “stepping stone” for Kathleen as I am sure it is for certain other candidates.
If elected, Kathleen will devote herself to the work at hand with the same high standards that she has exercised over the years in her successful law practice. I can and will attest to the fact that Kathleen is an attorney with impeccable high moral standards. I have seen first hand over the years the strength and determination that Kathleen carries into every aspect of her life, including family, her practice and her work as a prosecutor and coroner for Madison County District Attorney’s Office. I know she will carry this same strong work ethic into her position as our County Court Judge.
I was proud to see Kathleen selected by Judge DiStefano to be Madison County’s chosen Liaison for the Law Guardian Advisory Committee in Albany. I have watched her studious hard work while she was on the Judicial Review Committee to review the qualifications of judicial candidates for the 6th District.
I have always known Kathleen to be thorough in her research with great attention to detail and in my opinion stands alone with regard to court preparation.
Without a doubt, of all the candidates to throw their hat in the ring, Kathleen is absolutely the most qualified with the most expertise in the specific areas of law she will be presiding over as the next Madison County Court Judge. As a resident of Madison County I am grateful and thrilled that Kathleen is willing to commit to serve as our next County Court Judge.
Please get out to your local polls on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2015 and cast your vote to elect Kathleen as the 1st woman Judge to serve in Madison County.
