Caz library(Cazenovia, NY – Oct. 2015) A free retirement workshop, the movie Inside Out, one of the best animated films of the year, and LEGO My Library, where children can made their imaginative musings come to life, are all offered during November at the Cazenovia Public Library

Retirement Workshop: “Making the Most of Social Security” will be held Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Library Community Room.

This workshop will be conducted by associates with John Kalil, LUTCF, a Financial Services Representative with Retirement Solutions, an office of MetLife.

Designed to help participants ages 45 to 70 to better understand their Social Security retirement benefits, this workshop addresses several popular retirement concerns—(1) When can I stop working? (2) How much can I expect from the government? (3) What is the best claiming strategy to maximize my benefits?

Seating is limited.  Stop by or call the Library at 655-9322 to reserve a spot.

Refreshments will be served.

Movie: Inside Out will be shown Friday, Nov. 6 at 3:15 and 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10:15 a.m. in the Library Community Room

When 11-year-old Riley moves to a new city, her Emotions team up to help her through the transition. Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness work together, but when Joy and Sadness get lost, they must journey through unfamiliar places to get back home.

Inside Out is rated PG and runs for 94 minutes.  As always, admission and popcorn are free.

LEGO My Library takes place Monday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room.

Children ages 3 and older and their families are invited to join Jenna Wright-Martin for the popular LEGO my Library program.  Using the Library’s collection of LEGO and Duplo blocks, children and their families will have the opportunity to build and create something spectacular.

All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public.
