(Canastota, NY – Dec. 2015) From Nov. 19 to 22 four members from Canastota High School’s FBLA chapter and one member from the Middle Level chapter traveled to Baltimore, Md. to attend the Future Business Leaders of America National Fall Leadership Conference. Members attended a kick-off New York State meeting on Friday.
Nichole Delaney, a Canastota High School member who serves as the New York State Treasurer, assisted with the meeting.
Members also attended two national general sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings where motivational speakers provided keynote addresses.
Canastota members attended a New York State dinner held at Bubba Gump’s located on the inner harbor.
On Friday and Saturday members also attended many workshops that were presented throughout the day.
While in Baltimore, the Canastota members visited many points of interest, including Camden Yards and the National Aquarium. Elizabeth Garofalo, FBLA High School club advisor and Robert Esposito, FBLA – Middle Level club advisor, accompanied the members to the conference.
