(Morrisville, NY – Dec. 2015) We will be closing at 4pm on Thursday Dec. 24 and will not reopen until Monday Jan. 4 at noon. Be sure to get enough things to read and watch before we close. We want to wish you all a happy holiday season.
Starting Monday Jan. 4 and going until Monday Feb. 29 we are having our annual Canned Food Drive to benefit the Morrisville Food Pantry. Please help us make it better than last year. Not only will you be making a generous contribution to our food pantry, but for every item you donate, we will take a $1 off your outstanding fines.
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour is in full swing. We will not be having a story hour on Tuesday Dec. 29 as we are closed for the winter holidays. But bring your preschool child on Tuesday Jan. 5 at 10am as we will be reading about birds of a feather. Stories, finger plays, rhymes, crafts and more. Can’t make that day then join us again on Tuesday Jan. 12 for stories about snow.
Be sure to join us on Thursday Jan. 7 for Essential Oils at 6:30pm. Join Robin Suarez and Darlene Virgil as they share with you how to better your life naturally. Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in flowers, seeds, bark, roots and other parts of plants. You can use them in various different ways. Come see how.
On Friday Jan. 8 we are having a Teen/Adult Movie Night at 7:00pm. We will be showing the movie, Ant Man. The next installment in Marvel’s cinematic universe focused on the Avengers, Ant Man features a size-changing scientist using his technological advances to become a superhero. It is rated PG-13 so we will not allow kids under 13 in without a parent or guardian. As always, we provide the popcorn; you bring your beverage.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
