Oneida police patch(Oneida, NY- Jan. 5, 2016) Oneida City Police are investigating a reported bomb threat that was called into Assemblymen William Magee’s office on Farrier Avenue in Oneida.

Police responded Jan. 4 in the afternoon and evacuated Magee’s office and adjoining offices while bomb detection dogs from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and the New York State Police did a search of the offices.

Nothing was found and the investigation is continuing.

Farrier Avenue between West Street and Broad Street was shut down for a short time
