(Morrisville, NY – Jan. 2016) The Morrisville State College Athletics Department has named senior Caitlynn Adams (Sherburne, N.Y.) and freshman Danny Liscio (Woodbridge, Ontario) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending Jan. 10.

Adams played a key role in a 1-1 week for the Mustangs women’s basketball team as she collectively averaged 11.0 points and 13 rebounds per game across two games on the week.
In the win over Canton, she posted her third double-double of the season, netting 13 points and snagging 10 rebounds, before following that performance with nine points and a collegiate high 16 rebounds in the overtime loss to Cobleskill. Of her 16 total rebounds, seven came on the offensive glass. She added five assists, two steals and three blocked shots to her tallies in the conference contest.
The senior is a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High and is a natural resources conservation major at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Denise Russell and Bruce Adams.
Liscio had a hand in a 7-5 victory over non-conference opponent Becker College Saturday, collecting his second hat trick of the season as he posted three goals against the Hawks.
The freshman leads Morrisville State in scoring to date on the season, tallying 12 goals and assisting another six for 18 points.

A business administration major at Morrisville State, Liscio is the son of Angela and Joseph Liscio of Woodbridge, Ontario.
