Many thanks to those who came out to shop local at the Poolville Farmers Market on February 13th.  It was a COLD day but attendance was excellent and we want to thank the community for their faithfulness to the market!  If you missed the market, or if you just need to stock up on more local goodies, the market will be back in session on Saturday, February 27th from 10 to noon.  Please note the market has returned to its regular schedule and will be open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from February through April.  Mark your calendars for February 13th & 27th, March 12th & 26th, and April 9th & 23rd!
Market goers will find lots of top quality, local foods including:
 Fresh produce from Common Thread CSA, G&M Farms, Highland Farms of Hamilton, and Stone Brothers Farm and Greenhouses.
 Fruit of the Fungi will be there with fresh mushrooms and other goodies.
 Find local butter and crème fraiche at Kriemhild Dairy Farm’s table.
 Stock up on breads, cookies, pastries, pies, and specialty baked goods from Cakes and Other Goodies, Flour and Salt Bakery, Heartstone Artisan Bakery, Heirloom Meadows Farm, and Pleasant Valley Farm and Bakery.
 Farm fresh eggs available from a number of farms.
 Select from a wide assortment of cheeses from Jake’s Gouda Cheese.
 Find a variety of pasture raised and grass fed meats from Drover Hill Farm, Ingallside Meadows Farm, Sabino’s Farm and Quarry Brook Farms.
 Take home something sweet like honey, maple syrup, or delicious peanut butter from Amber’s Nut Butters, Johnston’s Honeybee Farm.
The market café will feature the Poolville Country Store.  They will have lots of ready-to-eat and frozen take-home foods for purchase as well.  Cups of locally roasted Fojo Beans coffee will be available as always!
