Vincent A. Enea is seeking re-election as the District 3 Herkimer County Coroner in the Nov. 8 general election. Having served as the County Coroner since 2011, Enea is heading into the 2016 election cycle energized and ready to represent the people of the town and village of Herkimer, town and city of Little Falls, and the towns of Warren, Schuyler, Stark and Danube. Enea is a registered Republican.
“Having worked and operated my own businesses in the village of Herkimer and Little Falls for many years of my life, I know firsthand the needs and concerns of my community members,” said Enea. “I am honored to have served as the County Coroner for five years prior, and I am humbly asking for your support heading into the 2016 general election. I look forward to serving the hard-working people of my community again.”
The position of County Coroner requires investigation of unattended, accidental, sudden, violent and unexpected deaths and works closely with local funeral directors, law enforcement and county officials to be sure a final cause of death is determined. The position requires the individual to be on-call 24/7.
Enea is a life-long resident of Herkimer and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since May 1982. Enea remains active with various industry associations and his main focus is helping the families get through a difficult time.
