Herkimer Generals Christopher Simmons of Utica placed first in six events at the Region 3 championship at SUNY Delhi; Simmons ran 11.42 in the 100-meter dash, 23.07 in the 200-meter dash, 50.69 in the 400-meter dash, 43.96 in the 4×100-meter relay, 3:31.48 in the 4×400-meter relay and leaped 13.54 meters in the triple jump.
