neighborhood watchThe next Verona Community Neighborhood Watch (VCNW) meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Verona Fire Hall 5555 Volunteer Ave., Verona.

The special guest speaker will be Lt. James Paravati from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Community Affairs Unit.

“Given the increased amount of inquiries I’ve received recently from residents in the Town of Verona, I thought it would be a good idea to have a Verona Community Neighborhood Watch Meeting again,” said Fritz Scherz, law enforcement liaison of the VCNW.

“The VCNW is very pleased that Lt. James Paravati will be our guest speaker for the evening. This will be an excellent opportunity for residents in the town to not only receive a law enforcement update as it relates to Verona, but to also be able to ask Lt. Paravati questions. I highly encourage Town of Verona residents to attend this VCNW meeting.”
