The Oneida Kallet Civic Center announces the opening of a combined fine art and photography exhibit by JoAnn Von Pless and Leslie Von Pless in the Jessie Griffing Gallery beginning May 20.
These local artists draw their creative inspiration from the beauty of nature and the changing seasons of upstate New York and other regions. JoAnn Von Pless enjoys painting landscapes in oils, acrylics, and watercolor, while Leslie Von Pless, an award-winning video producer and photographer, will be displaying several of her digital prints with a focus on environmental and conservation topics.
Both are members of the Central New York Art Guild and the Cooperstown Art Association. JoAnn is also a member of the CNY Arts Center. Their work has been exhibited widely throughout New York State.
