On May 15 at approximately 4:30 a.m., State Police stopped to render aid to a possible disabled vehicle on I-287 at Exit 8. The driver of the vehicle, Pablo J. Torres, 23, of Port Chester, was found to be intoxicated.
He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent. He was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.
He was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket.
