Troopers say blood-alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit
On May 14 at approximately 10:26 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 for speeding and multiple other traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle, Grele Edouard, 31, of Stamford, Conn., was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.21 percent. he was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated; an unclassified misdemeanor; and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
Edouard was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable White Plains City Court June 1 at 9 a.m.
