UPDATED INFORMATION:
Sara Schmitt has been located in the Albany area in good health.
State Police in Oneida are searching for 38 year-old, Sara D. Schmitt who was reported missing this afternoon by family members.
Schmitt was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday walking west bound on State Route 31 in the Town of Sullivan in Madison County. Family members believe she was walking to the Kinney’s drugstore on Rt. 31 to pay a bill but never returned. She was wearing blue jeans, a black Columbia zip-up jacket and black Reebok sneakers. Schmitt is described as being 5’4” tall, 120 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.
