letters-to-the-editor.image_To the Editor:

I have practiced law in Oneida County for 47 years, 36 of which were before Supreme Court Justice John Tenney, Claudia Tenney’s father, so I have gotten to know the Tenneys very well, and I am embarrassed to listen to and view the mistruths and distortions of a political action committee known as “Grow the Economy.”

Cognizant of the poor economic situation in central New York, what group can afford to pay hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to defame Claudia Tenney? If we follow the money, the conclusion is that the Oneida Indian Nation is funding this PAC as the Nation did against any politician, as Claudia, who appreciates the economic impact of the Turning Stone Casino but also calls attention to the thousands of casino debt related bankruptcies and the numerous debt-related suicides and attempted suicides plus the adverse effect it had on thousand of families in central New York.

I suggest that you contact claudiaforcongress.com online to learn about the lies of this PAC as to her record. When you receive an expensive, colored glossy in the mail from the PAC, or view the anti-Tenney ads on television, remember they are all mistruths and distortions. It is time for her two Republican opponents to man up and to disavow the lies spewed out by the PAC on their behalf.

Very truly yours,

Rocco L. Versace
