Leadership Mohawk Valley welcomes six new members to their Board of Directors effective July 1; Michael Calogero (LMV ’15), Upstate Cerebral Palsy; Gina Dier (LMV ’16), Coventya, Inc.; Brant Ford (LMV ’16), Ford English Financial Group; Major Michael Geer (LMV ’16), Eastern Air Defense Sector; Jo-Anne Ricci (LMV ’02), GPO Federal Credit Union; Jessica Watson (LMV 15), Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The new board members, all alumni of the program, fill recently vacated seats, and join twelve current board members in shaping LMV’s curriculum design, policies, and financial decisions for the 26-year-old organization.
Also at the organization’s annual meeting June 24, a new slate of officers was elected to lead the organization: President John Matthews (LMV ’08), Northland Communications; Vice President Matt Briggs (LMV ’12), Gates-Cole Insurance; Secretary Theresa Jalowiec (LMV ’15), Northland Communications; Treasurer Dan Taillard (LMV ’14); Immediate Past President Jeremy Earl (LMV ’09), The Root Farm.
Leadership Mohawk Valley is a dynamic network of leaders, devoted to regional community development and motivated by a positive vision for the future. The 10-month program develops a knowledgeable network of community trustees, committed to the greater good in the region. LMV also provides experience in group dynamics, team leadership, presentation skills and professional and personal growth. The program has over 850 graduates from the Oneida & Herkimer County region.
