Herkimer County Community College has appointed Erin B. Craig, of Cazenovia, as Dean of Enrollment Management. Craig will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing student recruitment and retention initiatives, supervising the offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, and providing leadership for the College’s Enrollment Management and Marketing Committee.
Craig most recently served as Director of Admissions for Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies in Washington, D.C. since October 2014. She also brings nine years of progressive admissions experience from Le Moyne College in Syracuse where she served as an admissions counselor, assistant director, associate director and director. Her experience includes a variety of admissions activities including strategic planning, recruitment program development and marketing.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Education from Le Moyne College.
“Having the opportunity to be a part of such a special community is what I found so endearing about Herkimer College,” said Craig. “Under President McColgin’s vision, I was immediately attracted to a college campus that was truly student-centered and focused on a multifaceted mission. I am both humbled and honored to serve in this capacity and excited to work with a dynamic admission and financial aid office.”
“I am pleased to welcome Erin Craig to the Herkimer College community,” said President Cathleen McColgin. “Erin brings a wealth of experience, strong leadership skills and extensive background in higher education to her new position, and I am confident she will be an effective member of our leadership team.”
