August Explorer Days at the Cazenovia Public Library: “Library Olympics” and “Silly Sports”
The Cazenovia Public Library will conclude its Summer Explorer Day program series with two final installments. Both wonderful sessions are filled with fun and educational activities designed to keep children’s minds and bodies active all summer long. Class size is limited to ensure program quality. Registration is required. Stop by the Library or call 655-9322 to reserve a spot.
“Library Olympics”— Wednesday, August 3rd, 1:30-3:00 pm in the Community Room
Go for the Gold at the Library Olympics! In celebration of the 2016 Rio Olympics, we will hold our own summer games. Events will test the skills and endurance of our young Library athletes. Children’s Programming Coordinator Jenna Wright-Martin will oversee the activities and lead a torch lighting and medal ceremony for all in attendance.
“Silly Sports”—Wednesday, August 10th, 1:30-3:00 pm in the Community Room
Celebrate the end of the Library’s summer season with this exciting and active program! Give T-shirt jump-roping a try or play a few holes of mini-golf around piles of books. The sillier the game, the better!
All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information on these and other Library events, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
