State Police in Oneida arrested Clayton J. Eckerlin, 22, of Weber Drive in Chittenango, for first-degree rape, a class “B” felony.
Eckerlin is accused of forcing a 17-year-old female to have sexual intercourse against her will after she was invited to his residence July 24. The female victim stated she met Eckerlin July 24 after she accepted a friend request on Facebook.
Eckerlin was arraigned in Cazenovia Village Court and remanded to Madison County Jail in lieu $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
