Senior Jordan Anderson (West Edmeston) added another accolade to her career with the Mustangs Thursday, as she was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III North Region Women’s Basketball All-Star Second Team at guard.
Anderson wrapped up her senior campaign with first team North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) All-Conference accolades, leading Morrisville State back to the NEAC Championship for a third time in her career.
Starting all 28 contests for the Mustangs at guard, the senior recorded 366 points on the year, collected 120 rebounds, registered a season record 203 assists, and collected 91 steals on the year.
Anderson held several rankings within the NEAC over the course of the season, including ranking third in free throws, first in assists, second in steals, first in minutes played, and seventh in minutes per game. She also currently holds four top 20 rankings in all of NCAA Division III, including third in assists per game, 19th in steals, and 10th in assist/turnover ratio. Anderson is also the current national leader in assists on the season (203).
The senior, who is a two-time first team All-Conference selection, concluded her career with setting a new all-time season record for the Mustangs in assists, and second in all-time season record books in steals (91).
She also finishes her career with seven new all-time career records in Mustang women’s basketball history, topping the record books in games played, two-point field goals, total field goals made, free throws made, points, assists and steals; while ranking fifth all-time in rebounds.
The graduate of Unadilla Valley High is majoring in human performance and health promotion at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Wendy and Steve Anderson of West Edmeston.
