On Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m., the Utica Public Library presents “Helping Children Grieve.”
This documentary offers useful information to parents and caregivers on how to help children of all ages deal with grief. It’s a tough and sensitive subject, one that many adults choose to shy away from, but also one that all parents and caregivers must be prepared to face.
Topics include how to be honest with children about death and how adults can grieve while still helping a child grieve. Hospice will have an information table set up with handouts for those in attendance. The program is free to the public. Call 315-735-2279 with any questions.
