The Butterfly Guy to present at Great Swamp Conservancy
Rick Mikula (a/k/a The Butterfly Guy) will be migrating from Pennsylvania to the Great Swamp Conservancy at 1 p.m. July 14 to teach us how to nurture and enjoy butterflies and moths.
This is accomplished by using the simplest of recycled household items. The presentation also includes a large display of the most beautiful and unusual butterflies and moths, all of which died of naturally causes.
The high point of every presentation are the live butterflies that are displayed in homemade cages. Mikula is president of Butterfly Rescue International, a founding member and past president of the International Butterfly Breeders Association, past vice president of the Canadian Butterfly Breeders and Exhibitors and past secretary and treasurer for the New Jersey Lepidopterist Society.
Admission for this exciting program is $8 for members and $10 for non-members and is open to butterfly lovers of all ages.
