Canastota woman charged with ATM thefts
On July 22, 2018, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested Sandy J. Snyder, 32, of 6811 Oxbow Road, Canastota, and charged her with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny and eight counts of criminal possession of stolen property (both class E felonies), and eight counts of petit larceny (class A misdemeanor).
It is alleged that Snyder stole a credit card from a residence in Lincoln and made several unauthorized ATM withdrawals with the card from several locations in Cazenovia, Chittenango and Hamilton. The amount of the withdrawals totaled $800.
Snyder was issued appearance tickets for Lincoln Town Court, Cazenovia Village Court, Hamilton Village Court and Chittenango Village Court directing her to appear to answer the aforementioned charges.
