Tenney announces October mobile office hours to help with Social Security, Medicare and VA casework issues
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-22) announced mobile office hours Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Cortland and Norwich. During mobile office hours, staff from Congresswoman Tenney’s district office will be available to provide assistance to constituents facing issues with federal agencies, specifically the Social Security Administration.
“Mobile office hours help us bring the wide range of constituent services our office offers to communities across the 22nd District to increase accessibility and give constituents an opportunity to meet directly with experienced casework staff,” Tenney said. “Most commonly, our constituents face issues with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration. Social Security is an important program that seniors in the 22nd District rely on, and I’ve been a leading voice in working to preserve and protect Social Security benefits for all New Yorkers. That’s why our office is hosting mobile office hours to ensure seniors have access to the important Social Security benefits they need and rely on.
“Overall, our office has worked with 1,120 constituents and helped recover over $172,000 in benefits. If you are having trouble with a federal agency, from problems with Social Security and Medicare benefits to obtaining a passport or questions about the Veterans Administration, our office is here to ensure you get the answers you need.”
