Utica Public Library to host tribute to Aretha Franklin

On Saturday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m., the Utica Public Library will present a Tribute to Aretha Franklin. Members of our community will provide the main feature.

Ms. Tracy Bowen’s “Miss Shannon” and “Lyrick” will do “A Presentation in Franklin,” a slideshow of images will also run at a later point during the event.

Immediately following Bowen’s contribution, the library will have drawings to give away several Aretha Franklin CDs, DVDs and books; everyone who attends the event will be eligible for the prize drawings.

The presentation is possible due the efforts of Ms. Geniene Harvey and is free to the public; free refreshments will be served.
