Oneida Public Library is substituting the 2018 costume comedy with a twist, ,” for the originally scheduled film at the Monday Movie Matinee, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m.
“The Seagull,” based on Anton Chekhov’s play of the same name, relates the romantic complexities of friends and family during a weekend in the country and their strivings for meaning in love, art and financial success. The film has stand-out performances by Annette Bening and Saoirse Ronan and was directed by Michael Mayer.
The film originally scheduled for Feb. 25, “The Favorite,” will be shown next month.
