Rome Man Arrested for Criminal Possession of Marijuana
(Utica, NY – Dec. 9, 2013) On Dec. 6 The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) executed a Search Warrant on D’Angelo Avenue in the City of Rome.
Niko S. Scerra, age 24, was arrested for second-degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana (a felony). Scerra was found in possession of over a pound of marijuana, a scale and packaging material.
Scerra was arraigned before the City of Rome Court. He posted $7,500 bail and was released. He is to reappear before City Court on Dec. 11. The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
The New York State Police Special Operations Response Team and Troop D personnel assisted with the Search Warrant.
SP Remsen charges Forestport man with multiple charges
(Forestport, NY – Dec. 9, 2013) On Saturday Dec. 7 Investigator Brandon Grabowski, SP Marcy BCI and Trooper Holly Armendola of New York State Police in Remsen arrested Oscar A. Nunez, age 33, 11685 Loucks Road, Forestport subsequent to a domestic dispute in which he menaced a female with a shotgun.
Nunez was charged with the following offenses:
Third-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon
Second-degree Menacing
Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Second-degree Harassment.
He was arraigned in the Town of Forestport Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
SP Marcy charges Marcy man with Criminal Contempt
(Marcy, NY – Dec. 9, 2013) On Friday Dec. 6 Trooper Theodore Kubinski of New York State Police in Marcy arrested Michael L. Debellis, age 46, from 9168 River Road, Marcy subsequent to a domestic dispute in which he attempted to inflict physical injury to a female who had a current order of protection in place against him.
Debellis was charged with first-degree Criminal Contempt (felony) and third-degree attempted Assault (misdemeanor).
He was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
