(Chittenango, NY – March 2014) Financial and in-kind support is needed by The International L. Frank Baum and All Things Oz Historical Foundation, known as the “All Things Oz” museum in Chittenango.

The chartered museum recently received its 501C3 charitable organization status. After nearly three years in its current location at 211 Genesee St. the museum has lost its lease and will be moving to its permanent home at 219 Genesee St. The new building, which is being donated to the museum offers much more space to display the items currently displayed, the items in storage, and the ability to accept Oz items that have been offered by to the museum.

Time is of the essence!

The exhibits in the current location must be moved by March 31. In order to move in to the new location there, is work to be done. A new heating and cooling system must be installed along with other repairs, cleaning and cosmetic work.

The 36th annual Oz-Stravaganza! will be held June 6 to 8, which typically brings 20,000 Oz fans to the area.

It is important that the museum is settled in its new location prior to the festival.

The foundation is reaching out for help please contact: Marc Baum 315 679 6104, Colleen Zimmer 315 415 8546, or Barb Evans 315 687 6250 to donate and with questions.

Donations can also be made via Paypal: Donate2oz@yahoo.com. The museum committee sincerely appreciates all donations to support the museum.
