(Oneida, NY – July 2014) The award winning series bike ride comes to Oneida on July 22.  Local railroad historian John Taibi kicks off the ride with information about the history of railroads in Oneida at the Oneida Commons beginning at 6 p.m. His most recent book in print is titled “From Horsecars to Interurbans.”

After we will ride through Oneida to the Erie Canal Towpath on N. Court Street in Wampsville head east 3 miles to Route 316 and back into downtown Oneida.  All rides meet at 6 p.m. and finish by dark.  Rides begin and end at the same location.

All riders 12 years and older who have had some experience riding are welcome.  Helmets required.  Weather permitting.
