Cazenovia library new

(Cazenovia, NY – Sept. 2014) Two movies kick off the fall movie schedule at the Cazenovia Public Library.   Draft Day will be shown at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5; and Captain America: The Winter Soldier at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12.

In Draft Day, general manager Sonny Weaver, played by Kevin Costner, has the opportunity at the NFL draft to rebuild his team when he trades for the number­-one pick.  He must decide what he’s willing to sacrifice on a life-changing day for a few hundred young men with NFL dreams  (Imdb).

Draft Day is rated R and runs for 109 minutes.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is another hit from Marvel.

Here viewers see Captain America (Steve Rogers) as he struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier (Imdb).

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is rated PG-13 and runs for two hours, 16 minutes.

Mark your calendars:  Words and Pictures at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18; and The Fault in Our Stars at 3:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19.

As always, movies are shown in the Library Community Room with free admission and popcorn.
