(Forestport, NY – Sept. 26, 2014) State Police in Marcy arrested Casimir J. Swalgin Jr., age 25, from North Lake Road in Forestport for first-degree Attempted Rape, a class “B” felony.
On Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. Troopers were called to a residence in the Town of Forestport after a 46 year-old female victim reported that Swalgin attempted to forcibly rape her. Swalgin was taken into custody without incident.
He was arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and held at the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash/ $100,000 bond.
